2008 UK Awards Event

The 2008 ThinkQuest UK Awards event will be held on Friday 07 November at the City offices of Oracle Education Services Ltd [One South Place, London EC2M 2RB]. Winning students and those with 'honourable mentions' will be attending with their Primary and Assistant coaches. Sadly on this occasion, we are not able to extend the invitation to our teams' international members but their contribution to our national competition will be highlighted.

Prizes will be awarded in the three age categories [12 and Under, 15 and Under, 19 and Under]; two special prizes [iNet Global Perspectives and Student Voice] will also be awarded.

Following the prize giving, teams can enjoy a tour of the London Dungeon before making their homeward journeys.

2007 UK Award Ceremony

The ThinkQuest UK 2007 awards ceremony took place at the Design Museum, Shad Thames, London, on 07 November 2007.

It was an opportunity for all the winners to celebrate together and for the winning teams to get a chance to meet each other.

The Award ceremony was part of the prize for winning the ThinkQuest competition - but the winning teams also got to visit a London show, dine at the Rainforest Cafe and trips on the river on a flight on the London Eye. The winners collected their prizes at the award ceremony from Doug Brown, of Technology Futures at the DCSF, and their work was also on display for the many guests to admire.
