Subject to quality assurance controls, all schools affiliated to the Trust are welcome to apply for Training Centre status in one or more subject[s] and nominate subject tutors who receive training twice a year from the authors of current 'Toolkit' sessions.

A subject Toolkit typically comprises four one-hour training sessions which are authored by teachers and education professionals with proven expertise in the effective use of ICT for learning and teaching. 

Each Toolkit will in addition, comprise bonus modules which provide more generic information for teachers about current national initiatives and priorities. 

Once trained, subject tutors are equipped to share the materials with subject colleagues and offer training workshops to other teachers in their locality or region.
