Become a Toolkit Author!

Toolkit folders

For teachers with effective and innovative practice with ICT and seeking an opportunity to share their skill and expertise with subject colleagues … look no further than the chance to become a Toolkit author for the Trust’s CPD programme! Help subject colleagues to explore the use of new technologies for learning and teaching and to help them make informed decisions about the feasibility of ICT to address concepts which students find difficult.

Toolkit sessions need to be innovative and inspirational, covering the basics of a topic through to extension work whilst also addressing the different learning styles of teachers and their students!

We ask you to include:

  • A PowerPoint presentation driving the session together with step-by-step notes will help CPD tutors to cascade the session to other teachers;
  • Tutors notes to guide the trainer in delivering the toolkit
  • Delegates’ notes will clearly explain the outcomes of the activities you include.
  • Examples of how you have used this or a similar resource with your own students and its impact on learning.

Some authors have written sessions around innovative software although it is important to check whether this can be made available to tutors and their delegates on a trial basis at least!

To express an interest in becoming a Toolkit author, please complete the briefing form which is downloadable from this page.
